About Us

Region Sörmland IT has approximately 120 employees located in three places: Nyköping, Eskilstuna, and Katrineholm. We are the main provider of IT services to the region and deliver complete IT solutions to support operations with system development, architecture, project management, governance, testing, operations, infrastructure, telephony, etc. The region has about 10,000 users and infrastructure across the entire geographical area of Region Sörmland.

We work according to the governance model pm3 and deliver services according to ITIL.

Your Responsibilities

You will work with service deliveries within the IAM delivery area to achieve efficient, stable, and secure operations. You will manage the IT solutions and services within the area, propose further development, and represent the delivery area in dialogue with projects or management. Monitoring the external environment within IAM and proactive work based on customer needs is also part of the job.

The services that the delivery area is responsible for and/or delivers are both on-prem and cloud-based. Operations and maintenance of Active Directory with associated services. Identity management including PhenixID, ADFS, EntraID, Pointsharp, and MIM.

The IAM delivery area aims to create a central and unified IT support for managing identities and permissions to operational systems. With this, we want to realize the vision that it should be easy to do the right thing in permission administration. This is done with a focus on future-proofing, automation, traceability, efficiency, control, and simplicity.

The IAM delivery area is part of the Unit/Service Area System Technology. There are also areas such as Server, Storage, Backup, Datacenter, Integration, and IT Security. Together, the unit consists of about 11 employees who will also be your closest colleagues.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with a strong interest and extensive experience working in the field of Identity and Access Management. We place great value on your ability to document.

• Documented extensive technical experience with products and components in the IAM area. For example, Strong authentication (E-identifications, RADIUS, SITHS, OATH, smart cards). Single Sign-On (Kerberos, Oauth2, SAML, OIDC, etc.). Identity and access federations. Federation connections (Sambi, DIGG, SWAMID, School Federation - both the application process and the technical connection). Directory services. System integrations. PKI solutions.
• Broad and general competence and experience in Windows Server.
• Documented experience leading technical teams in some form is advantageous.
• Relevant academic degree or equivalent experience in IT is advantageous.
• Driver's license B is a requirement.

Employment Type

Permanent employment with start date as agreed. The workplace is in Nyköping or Eskilstuna with the possibility of remote work part of the time.
